This and TVIX are similar. Watch and read both. Most of the folks that make a profit here just wait for it to spike and short it on the way back down.

You ought to read the stickys in TVIX by Dad4x he has been there a long time. Be careful going long here and never think it is a long trade unless the market is in a free fall.
