Here's one for GE's IP protection tiger team. The patent application has a machine design that includes a cutting tool. It's hard for me to tell from the text if the heat present in the build chamber is a good thing or not.

Besides, by performing a printing operation and a cutting operation at the same time, a surface figure accuracy of the finally formed structural component can directly meet the usage requirements."
