NOT A JOKE BUT A SERIOUS POSSIBILITY

It would not shock me if Gene's primary focus now is on finding a replacement CEO.

Check into the history of SALV. Gene can see the handwriting on the wall. Who in their right mind would want to be captain of a sinking ship? The guy is a savvy survivor. His own stock appreciation from a new CEO announcement would more than make up for any loss of salary over the company's limited life span.

The challenge is finding a suitable candidate. It will be Gene's biggest sales challenge. And when it comes to selling, Gene's as good as anyone I've ever met. How do you think he got all of us involved in this mess. Add to that that despite all that has and has NOT transpired, he still has some true believers. That's the mark of a great salesmen. Some would way "con man" would be a better term. I would not argue too vigorously against the use of that term.

A word to the wise is sufficient....shorts beware.
