Samsung hasn’t unveiled its new Galaxy smartphone at this week’s Mobile World Congress, but it has set a date for it and announced two new tablets as well as a new partnership with Microsoft.

The former aspires to AV entertainment greatness with 4K video, a super AMOLED display, and quad-stereo speakers; while the latter is a convertible tablet, available in 10.6? and 12? screen models, aimed at the enterprise market.

Both devices place an emphasis on enhanced security technologies. The Tab S3 sports a number of built-in sensors including a fingerprint scanner, while the Galaxy Book runs on Windows 10, leveraging Windows Hello for biometric authentication.

As for the Samsung Galaxy S8, that device will be launched in New York City on March 29th, with the device expected to take mobile biometric authentication a step further by incorporating iris scanning.
