Thank you. I watched it this morning. That is what my concern has been. I think the Dem party along with some Repubs still want to sabotage Trump. IF a government shutdown occurs it could get ugly. A few years back when there was a couple day shutdown Moodys downgraded our debt a notch. We lost our AAA status.

The Dollar was below 112 Yen earlier. Gold and silver were up. Oops. Can't have that...

Dallas Fed president Robert Kaplan said today a rate hike should come sooner rather than later, to keep up with rising inflation. Dollar Yen is now 112.70 and Gold and silver just turned negative. Mission accomplished Robert. Good boy.

I wonder if the Fed will want to raise rates not knowing the outcome of the debt ceiling debate. I wonder if they raise rates and then we have a government shutdown if the markets will continue to go up.
