Thanks for all of your valuable inputs in my DD process.
It became quite a heated discussion - And I can't imagine it being over any time soon. This is an interesting company with an interesting CEO, that has attracted a lot of buzz, PR and celeb endorsements, which in itself is worth it's weight in diamonds. But there's a lot of things and details that needs to be cleared out. Very grand statements, aggressive projections, that I do not completely agree with and an underwhelming product. - These are just my personal opinions, but I trust my judgement 110%. And I know a lot of you guys equally trust your own judgement. So there's not much more to be accomplished here for me, or for anyone of you.
So many of you seem so deeply vested in this company, and I truly wish you all the best of luck. This is probably the most passionate board on iHub.
I am interested in this company for a single reason and that is their ability of generating huge buzz with celebrities and PR. Charismatic, extremely visionary CEO. Seems to be a true powerhouse with a will of steel. But product is clearly lacking. Both in execution and in theory. A lot of black holes IMHO.
But I WILL, move forward on my idea to develop a redesigned product for Rory. There's absolutely nothing for Rory to lose, by getting some new inputs - only a couple of days of work on my side. And I can live with that for sure.
I'll let you know when I have an update on my progress. I have a few (I think) great ideas for how they can improve their product offering in my own personal opinion. And I possess the technical abilities to get it done. Fast. Then it's up to Rory if he wants to implement it into his offering.
How this goes is completely irrelevant. it's just a few ideas. Nothing big and ground breaking and no need to be offended by it or scared by it - like some of you obviously have been.
