This company is far further ahead and is getting grants and outside funding.

But since they have a prototype and dollars does that mean CoolTechs product is still 5 years out??

Look at their offices with people and quality video production.
Also update you SEC filings to note that someone else is doing exactly what you are before you get sued again.

Good news is they think it is five years before they have a product.

So CoolTech, go talk to the people they have interested in their technology and tell them you have it now!!

Also start applying for grants and submit proposals.

You didn't have to wait for someone with military connections, you could/should of been searching the government sites (ARMY, Marine, DOE, etc) for proposals that could be a fit. Then submit some!!.

The intevtev have been gathering money.
