It's a real clown show in here the last couple days. A good question that came up was whether folks would really want ads pushed to them so aggressively. This works if you have a captive audience but if someone has a choice are they going to go out of their way to sign up for the app so they can be advertised to?

I agree with the criticism that's come
Up though that the product is not a finished product yet. Plenty of development and wrinkles to work out before it gets widely distributed. Any agreements in place probably have timelines and contingencies in place. But the company has good visibility and a good network. I'm not saying they won't get there - just we've got time. In the meantime a big concern is will the target customer and that customers audience adopt their technology? That's what I'm skeptical about and think would be a beneficial discussion.

My question/prompt would be: I easily see why companies would use this and see it as a good engagement and advertising tool. Why would your average person sign up to be advertised to this way? Even if ads in the walk out format are pushed without consent - this seems likely to be perceived very negatively because of the interruption.
