captainslog: Here are my answers to your questions.

Q: (1) How much do the rest of the infringes make up in cell phone market share?

With the signing of Apple and Huawei last year I would estimate that IDCC’s paying licensees now cover approximately 55 - 60% of the mobile phone market, so theoretically the rest of the market could be infringing There still are some major and lots of smaller manufacturers that could be licensed. For example, the latest 10-K stated that in 2016 patent license royalties were derived from 27 independent licensee. this compares with a Qualcomm statement that they have over 100 licenses with Chinese companies alone.

Q: (2) What is a ball park estimate that they owe IDCC for:

.....(2a) A current license?
.....(2b) Past Infringement?

Although some posters have no hesitation in coming up with their WAGs, I have no idea as to possible amounts.

Q: (3) How much does the current licensees' past infringement add up to?

.....(3a) Can you tell me who they are and how much they owe

Q: (4) How many more quarters will the current licensees' past infringement be owed?

When the current licensees' past infringement payments run out (past infringements $$$ is limited), what will fill that substantial gap in IDCC's revenue?

Current licensees do not owe for any past infringement. When their PLAs were signed any past infringement amounts were covered by the license terms and reported as Past Sales.

( Your comment): I find it interesting that if you take last quarter's gross revenue, and multiple that by 4 quarters IDCC has already reached WM $500 million goal, if he means Gross revenues.

The $588-$600 million goal is for annual recurring revenue, not “Gross” i.e. total revenue
