China, the recent patent is part of a chain that was originally filled in 1998.

I realize that make it "old news" amd thus should be disregarded by all longs, but that is not how the US PTO works. By claiming priority back to '98 they can claim being ahead of others. But that also sets the expiration date of 2018.

The product in question is a MAB that targets CXCR-4, and has nothing to do with DCVax. The MAB itself was in pre-clinical trials a dozen years ago and never made it into the clinic.

In short, a soon to expire patent on a failed drug candidate.
