Another thing I've noticed RKM, and thank you for your care and efforts to rebut these arguments, is that this is not the forum for asserting intellectual and academic FRAUD, which is what they are suggesting in these arguments. Either that or gross incompetence.

There are forums that would result in substantial attention to these accusations, but it can't be done anonymously, and it will have consequences for all involved, especially on those who allege such significant activities fraudulently.

But the failure to have the discussion (not anonymously, but as known persons, who must present themselves and the basis for their knowledge, understanding and capacity to challenge) in a fully free, academic environment reveals a few things: 1) these are not likely academics; and 2) they know they don't really have a basis to make these claims. They do it on bulletin boards because it is NOT in the light, it is in the darkness, but yet it can create a certain basis for alleging similar claims in publications like TheStreet.com, etc., without having to actually prove the accusations real in a real and transparent context where credentials and institutions are involved, real resources are brought to bear, and liars are squashed. Their purpose is to influence the investment community, not the public interest, ultimately. There are ways to address these accusations, and it would mean they would be exposed for who they are, their ties and connections, they'd be subject, ultimately to discovery, at every level, and maybe sponsors would be caught and exposed. It would be extremely messy.
