Gather round kids, it's evaporation time.
LPI set up some test evaporation ponds in Maricunga last October. The evaporation ponds were in operation through December and easily took our initial brine samples to an increase in concentration of 5 times from 1,260mg/l lithium to over 6,300mg/l lithium. Click Here for LPI report

This may not sound like such big news to you, but it is big news. These simple ponds require water which all lithium miners regard as incredibly precious. We are grandfathered in to use the natural occurring water found in Maricunga and our engineers will inevitably be proving that we are not "destroying" water in Maricunga by efficiently recycling it back into the ecosystem during our mining operations. Lithium miners in the South American lithium triangle will secretly be licking their lips in envy at our simple natural evaporation capabilities in Maricunga every time they fire up their expensive man-made electrical powered lithium concentrator machines Click Here to see these monsters in action. It may turn out that by using evaporation ponds our cost to produce a metric ton of lithium is $2,000 while the machine concentrators are producing lithium at $6,000 per tonne. If you are figuring to sell lithium at $20,000 per ton as Henk Van Alphen is saying Click Here then evaporation pond miners could be pocketing another $4000 per tonne over the gizmo-gadget-driven electrical machine extractor miners (probably positioned more in Argentina).

Today many investors are in a quandary trying to decide whether to invest in Chile or Nevada lithium miners. The hardrock and clay miners in Nevada are never going to be more profitable than lithium brine mining. Click Here for comparative Study
The only lithium miners in Nevada that have a chance at profitability are the brine miners and they have one huge problem. Many of these NEW brine miners in Nevada do not have grandfathered water rights which are of tantamount importance in Nevada and Colorado.

Water is the key and will be an important key for even the gizmo-gadget-driven electrical machine extractor miners also. Remember that.
