After examining 10 pharmaceutical companies and 106 randomly selected drugs that were first tested in human clinical trials between 1995 and 2007, Tufts estimated that the true cost to bring a drug to market was $2.56 billion (in 2013 dollars).

There's obviously a big discrepancy there between $150M and $2.56B but I suppose the fact that VASCEPA (formerly Miraxion) already had a bunch of pre-existing R&D before entering the PHASE 3 trials for the TG indications saved some money.
