I agree that they absolutely could start the lock/unblind/analyze process now (or earlier) and have top line data in time. This would be perfectly proper. And any loss in power due to non-progressors electing an early crossover would be almost nill at this point (and might be absolute zero as 233 might be hit prior to public data).

But they are the ones saying otherwise, that they are waiting. If NWBO issues a PR saying they changed their plans and are doing as you say, then I would agree. But otherwise I would consider that wild speculation.
