I've never subscribed to the 'catalyst' type thinking. Manipulators could do it if they pull in the same direction - no catalyst needed. And this is why I carry calls to 'protect' against such moves. It's my interpretation that they're a bit over extended right now, but a spike is still possible. Was nice to see the rejection at WTI $54.89. Now to see if it holds.
