Scenario: contracting company with medical device experience
Echo could use a contracting company that has worked on medical devices. Unfortunately, this would cost $$$. Most of the cost would be ramp up. XYZ company would spend months going through documentation, setting up test equipment, and just racking up the bill. In all honesty, we wouldn't see a product for 2-3 years with Echo's "financial" plan.
Scenario: MTIA at the wheel
MTIA has access to funding. We cannot deny this. Their intentions are unknown, but what we do know (from public info) is that they want to manufacture the gen2 system (and later gen3). Give them a board seat and have a couple of their people sit in the R&D office. Let them give it a go. Why not? They offered to give 5 million. At least form a US-China partnership. It would be better to be transparent than have them go off and secretly do it on their own (..too soon?)
Listen everyone. I promise you this 120%, i really don't care who owns what. They need to get the financial situation done because other companies are working on ways to make invasive technology "semi-invasive". Competitors are developing advanced sensor deployment systems to psychologically trick the user into pain. That is 500% guaranteed.
They are also already missing out on some great partnerships out there. The one's Echo NEEDS to be part of. They can't do this without getting money and getting their R&D team up and running.
Anyone watch the ending of "Hell on Wheels"? To summarize that, 2 main US railroad companies battled trying to connect the west side of the U.S. The most greedy person, that took shortcuts and dishonestly tried to finance the project, died a lonely person with nothing but a shitty ass gold ring worth a couple bucks, while the honest person completed it. He is the kicker... the honest person used Chinese workers to complete it. He gave them respect and important roles. Kinda fundamental?
