CaliPharms, Inc. (OTCPink:KGET), a Company operating in the California Medicinal Cannabis industry, which trades under its former name â??Kleangas Energy Technologies, Inc.â? has entered acquisition discussions with a California based medical cannabis edibles company.
CaliPharms overall goal in the cannabis space is to become a trusted brand name in the industry that is synonymous with quality and accurate dosing.
President and CEO Bo Linton stated, â??We see the future of the cannabis industry being similar to the pharmaceutical, vitamin, and health supplements industry. Growing cannabis in a farm certainly has financial advantages at present, but when people buy M&Ms, Advil, or Protein powder, they pay attention to brand names that have their confidence. People want a product that works and does what is claimed on the label,â? Linton continued, â??In all our acquisition targets, this edible company included, it is our primary goal to be a part of the quality control which means having precise doses in products so the consumer has predictable and consistent medical effects from the product. We will put our brand CaliPharms on the packaging, just like â??Splendaâ? or â??Intelâ? does on their products. It takes a long time to create a brand like those mentioned, but once it is done, it is lasting.â?
CaliPharms plans to deploy â??microdosingâ? in its future edible cannabis products. Items like mints or chocolates where consumers donâ??t want a large dose in a small serving. This will give consumers options on how much they want to consume. CaliPharms plans to list doses in a easily calculated base ten format. For example if 10 milligrams is a standard serving, the microdose would be 1 milligram or 1/10 of a milligram.
Linton Further stated, â??For those of us that are guilty of downing a half pound bag of M&Ms on occasion, you may opt for the 1/10 of a milligram dose per serving. We want to make it easy for the consumer to know exactly how much THC or CBD they take into their system with each serving.â?
