hopefully there's some good news in there and will fully explain what's been going on over there the past year+

Honestly, I'll expect it to be a mixed bag of good and bad news...
as you've said there was a reason why they stopped filing, and i don't think we'll like the answers to that.. but something made them want to get current.. hopefully it's something good and not their lender putting the proverbial gun to their heads.
