Sitting on the back porch this morning...enjoying a cup of coffee..the birds are as vocal as they can be singing praise to their creator! Watching a slow drizzle of rain...the Robins hoppin around collecting breakfast. The Bradford pear trees in bloom as well as the forsythia bushes and daffodils. And low and behold a red bud also! And im pretty sure its still February?....but as im looking at all of this and thanking God for yet another day of life and strength and good health here on planet earth. Im thinking...Here i am 60 years young. i have the blessed assurance that when i die im going to spend eternity with Jesus...in heaven....as He has promise that He has a mansion prepared for me there! And although i have some health issues like most folks i have also discovered and found what happiness, joy and contentment truly is through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Me...a little speck in the universe and God loves me with a love that i cant even begin to comprehend...and...as sinful as a person that i was for all so many years....His mercy is new every morning and His grace abounds upon me in ways that just simply blows my mind...but hey...like i said...He just loves me that much and that gives me joy unspeakably and full of glory! What a awesome God we serve and Jesus...my precious Jesus...walks every step of this earthly path with me and as i said before...has a mansion waiting for me!...i reckon that makes me just a little bit special!...-wink!-...y'all have a awesome and blessed day!
