I've done some DD on this SBIR and Supercool Metal was awarded the grant under NSF.
Liquidmetal submitted there SBIR proposal under NASA so there is still a chance Liquidmetal could get a phase 2 grant from NASA. Liquidmetal SBIR was updated Feb 13 2017.
I could be wrong do your own DD.........this would be a good question for our new CEO.

My opinion is whom ever builds the best mouse trap (BMG equipment) goes the spoils. GL
