As you sat where ever you are right now...and you were to be open and honest with yourself...let me ask you.. What do you fear? Do you fear for the life of family or friend because of sickness or disease...maybe even for yourself? Do you fear because you have lost your job or maybe you are still working but making ends meet is becoming more and more difficult? Do you fear for your children and also for yourself because of the shape of the world...the economy...the evil all around us? Do you fear the unknown of the future as to whats going to happen to you when you get old or older? Do you fear death because you dont know what is to come or where you are really going to be when you die? Folks...i realize that there is much that we can fear...dwell on...dread...here on this earthly journey. And i dont make light of the problems and burdens in your life...i know they are very real to you! However..in the reality of life...we have to remember that we are not promised smooth sailing or a walk thru the rose garden here on earth. And...we really dont know...even though we like to think we do...we dont know what is going to happen one moment to the next! Most anything can walk into our path at any time. However there is good news that should not just ease our fears but put them to bed once and for all and that good news is JESUS! We really dont have to fear anything. What we need to do is let the fact that God really is sovereign...in complete control...sink into our very core...and...to put our complete faith and trust in JESUS and know and believe with faith that everything really is going to be alright. Now...that dont mean all the stuff above is necessarily going to go away or even get any better. But it does mean that our loving God...our creator...has promised to see us through any and every circumstance and supernaturally sustain us and Jesus walk hand and hand with us right thru till that day we step into eternity! Remember..God didnt drop us off here on planet earth to wonder around and get by as best we can...God wants to be a part of our life every breath of everyday. Do you trust God?
