I don't think the interview of Malak shows him to be 'insane' or 'extremely frustrated' or 'punitive'. I think the interviewer was bored and probably wasn't as engaged on the vplm excitement that he needed to be. So it sounded to me like Malak was trying to get the excitement level up. Some may have mistaken it for raving lunacy. They would be wrong.
