Its Intel R&D money which is talking. Micron brought manufacturing powers to the table.


My understanding is that Intel has about 44000 patents worldwide and Micron has 20000. That's with a third of the workforce. It does not sound to me like Micron is just a manufacturing company and dependent on Intel.
