I've been in AVXL for years and have grown cynical.
If you don't know about "all that" you badly need to do your DD if you are significantly invested in it...Respectfully.
There have been both muscarinic and sigma-1 drugs around for many years.
Historically, number of small studies for ALZ , like AVXL's have shown great promise that vanished in larger, properly controlled clinical trials. The odds are very long.
I was very positive for some years but that has evaporated over time.
