Certainly agree that data in the case of RCPI may be very valuable. Complicating the matter IMO is that RCPI relied on non-profit Roskamp Institute for their testing...and also CEO Mullan is/was also CEO of "for profit" Archer Pharmaceuticals. This to me makes things potentially messy...and I am guessing that Trustee does not want to get "overly involved". You gotta believe that Mullan/Jenkins were soliciting every potentially interested partner they could prior to filing bankruptcy (they should have been if they were doing their duties!). Will some of those entities resurface to buy RCPI patents (and presumably data/research) for a song? Are these parties already conspiring with the creditors behind the scenes to work out something that gets them a return of their $ but also leaves common shareholders out in the cold? And could Mullan/Jenkins resurface at some point down the road in conjunction with the new entity that buys the IP/data? All very messy IMO, but also reinforcement that "the system" is rigged against us.
