I was a sailor, and not a very good one. I did love the sea. Never saw combat. Only Naval exercises; had Iranians on board for a while. Played war games with the Australians and British.

Water skied on Mombasa Bay, and in Ethiopia where Haile Selassie came on board. Saw 1/2 a million Bangladeshi refugees on the road to Karachi Pakistan and was mobbed in the street by poor Pakistanis when giving away my last Pakistani money before leaving port.

Bunch more stories. Some not printable for the Bible Board. I did stay away from activities that needed anti-biotics to remedy.

Biggest battle was going through a 2 day Typhoon in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Waves rolling over the Bridge. Walking on the walls.


Yep. Every Christian soldier needs a support system.
