Keep in mind that there is an ex-dividend date, and the dividend is paid on a delayed basis to shareholders of record on the record date. Also, the dividends are paid quarterly, and the stated dividend yield and rate in a quote for APPL is always the annual dividend rate and yield, rather than the quarterly dividend. I suspect you received a quarterly dividend at 1/4 the annual dividend rate and yield.
