I have to agree there is risk here, which I calculated and accepted.
However imo it does not resemble a scam or a pump and dump. You may know the former IR rep who posts here occasionally. He has confidence in the character and integrity of the current CEO. He is an honest and open, now independent investor and reporter of facts who shares his positions and analysis. He has resumed a small stake here on the hope we share that the well proves the hunch. GLTA!
