To keep Aphria's investor's relations busy, I decided to ask via email.
Hopefully interesting to some ---- truncated response from CFO:

....We are no longer disclosing our patient count. It is an irrelevant statistic that is misused, particularly given the ability to blatantly distort the truth with it (there is significant double and triple counting of patients inside of the HC figures). We believe the most appropriate statistic is kilograms sold....
