I used to drag the wifey up to Burt L.

on our 1 wk. a year vacay and we'd spend at least 3 of those days making our way thru' the Inland Waterway and into the Straits to hunt browns, salmon & lake trout. We'd drop the catch off to these little roadside shacks outside either Harbor Springs or Cheboygan and then drive over the next day to pick them up, lord were they good, I wished I'd paid more attention to their tricks.

Tip to you young 'uns out there, there's nothing a young city girl bride loves better than spending her one week of vacation on an antique 19' ft. boat on the big lake with an equally iffy antique motor landing only for fuel and camping in the hull in a sleeping bag with 50 lb.s of fish and bathing over the side, ya boy, she'll be devoted to ya forever.
