I said I wasn't paying attention anymore, but the more I re-read the PR's since October, this whole new ballgame does grab my curiosity and watching it unfold has now turned into morbid curiosity -- like slowing down to see a car wreck on the other side of the road.

I shot an email off to Dr. Stanley Watson.

Trying to get any DD done on some of these "new additions" is not a smooth process. Searching Tracey Woods, Ian Sallee, Diana Aliste, etc. produces nothing of substance, although they all have ties to the state of MI -- and/or Ann Arbor, MI.

But Dr. Stanley Watson is another story. His research work in neuroscience is extensive and if anyone has experience in HPC, he does.

So anyway, I worded my mail carefully, but if he is as smart as I believe him to be, he'll know I was trying to pick his brains.
