Guessing that it isn't a clinical announcement seeing as this isn't a medical meet coming up; then perhaps they have some sort of collaboration or aqusition to tout? Up 5% on whatever it may be.
OTOH, being awkward close to slipping under a buck and facing delisting, perhaps management is just waving the "we're still here "flag.
We will see.
