The WeekendShift - SFOR This Week in Court.

Just trying to nail down the Proceedings that happened this week in Court..

This Week SFOR had a Settlement Conference.

Originally all 3 cases were combined under on Case #.

The the cases now appear to be seperated.

My Orginal Assumptions were :

A) Which would lead one to believe one of the Infringing Companies
may Settle before the other 2.

B) A Buy Out offer is on the table.

Upon Further Examination of the Docket Entries this week I found another reason why the Trustwave Case was seperated from DUO & Centrify.

Centrify has infringed claims
1, 7, 8, 10, 19, 22, 48, 50, 52, 53, and 54 of the ’698 Patent

Defendant Duo Security has infringed claims
1, 7, 8, 10, 19, 22, 48, 50, 52, 53, and 54 of the ’698 Patent

Defendant Trustwave has infringed claims
1, 7, 19, 22, 48, 50, 52, 53, and 54 of the ’698 Patent.

This is why the Cases were Separated IMO

I shall also assume that TrustWave's Discovery Process was thorough, in that a copy of the Patent was included with the following Error Corrections were Made Only in SFOR's TrustWave's Filing .. 49'er

These PATENT CORRECTIONS WERE MADE ONLY in the TrustWave Filing

It is certified that error appears in the above-identified patent and that said Letters Patent is here by corrected as shown below:

In the Specification:

At column 6,line number30, change “FIG.1"to--FIG.1A--;

In the Claims:
At column 14, line number 65, change “claim1° to--claim7--,

At column 18, line number 30, change “(DTFM)”to--(DTMF)--.

TrustWave's Litiagtion Team is most likely backed by SingTel $$$$ which has Very Deep Pockets.

Singtel is majority owned by Temasek Holdings, the Investment Arm of the Singapore Government. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Why the TrustWave / Singtel Case is different from PhoneFactor/ Microsoft Case.

Unlike PhoneFactor and Microsoft, where PhoneFactor was Assimilated by the Microsoft Borg Cube.

TrustWave Remains it's Own Seperate Enity
at least for now.

A smart move on Singtel's part, most likely after seeing the Microsoft Mistake and knowing it could possibly lose the Case and TrustWave would be forced to Settle. IMO

That being said :

Singtel is the largest company by market capitalisation listed on the Singapore Exchange.

Singtel has 600 Million Customers ! - (July 2016 Numbers)
For all its Services.

Covering 25 Counties

Singtel provides:

ISP (SingNet),

IPTV (Singtel TV) and

Mobile phone networks (Singtel Mobile)

Fixed Line Telephony Services.

Singtel has Expanded Aggressively Outside its Home Market and it also owns shares in many regional operators, including 100% of the second largest Australian Telco, Optus, which was acquired in 2001 from Cable & Wireless and other shareholders of Optus, and 32.15% of Bharti Airtel, the largest carrier in India.
