I hope so. At the moment it would look like they would have about 8 million in the bank. Something's got to give.

Indeed, about 130,000 shares traded within a few minutes, interesting but doesn't shed any light on the situation. A number of blocks of 5000 and then a lot of sequential blocks of 100 within milliseconds or seconds between each other. That pattern of buying as you say could mean someone knows something.

Still I feel with about 8 million left, a company would normally be shopping around to secure funds asap as partnership deals can take a long time to work out and can fall through at anytime.

Experience would say they issue shares which is what I'm still ultimately expecting, but given the ever shorter window of opportunity to secure funds, hopefully something better is in the works.

I already did write to BCLI about the Phase III funds situation and if they were looking to go to the investors for the cash. Wrote that about 2 weeks ago and to date, no reply. So it's all still in the wind.
