I worry ** a lot ** about UPS. My own company rarely uses them for shipping anymore. The USPS is now much cheaper on deliveries to consumers. UPS gives discounts to large users which saves us some money, but their rates go up about 5% annually, while inflation is about 1%.
UPS's problem: It's delivering more to homes (low profit) vs delivering large shipments on a daily basis to businesses (high profit).
I've been saying this for a couple of years and UPS is still struggling. Raising shipping rates isn't the best solution.
