ORDER GRANTING BUCKLEYSANDLER LLP’S FIRST AND FINAL
APPLICATION FOR COMPENSATION AS COUNSEL FOR THE CHAPTER 11
DEBTOR- IN- POSSESSION
THIS MATTER comes before the Court on BuckleySandler LLP’s First and Final
Application for Compensation as Counsel for the Chapter 11 Debtor- in- Possession (the
“Application”), which seeks compensation for legal work performed during the period of
the Chapter 11 estate and, more particularly, for representing United Western Bancorp,
Inc. as Chapter 11 Debtor-in- Possession in the Seizure Litigation during the
Employment Period as the latter two terms are defined and described in the Application.
This Court, having reviewed the Application and being advised in the premises, the
Application having been duly served and no responses or objections having been filed,
and good cause having been shown, hereby:
ORDERS that
a. The Application seeking $100,000 in attorneys’ fees and $2,618.53 in
expenses of BuckleySandler LLP for the Seizure Litigation during the
Employment Period is APPROVED as a Chapter 11 administrative expense;
b. BuckleySandler LLP is authorized to apply all of the $100,000 retainer
previously received from the Debtor-in-Possession toward such attorneys’
fees; and
c. Chapter 7 Trustee Simon E. Rodriguez is authorized to pay BuckleySandler
LLP the amount of $2,618.53 as reimbursement of actual and necessary
expenses incurred during the Employment Period.
