Macy's is definitely in a critical period right now. From July 2016 it went from a high of $72 to $29 today. We are doing the exact same replay of the exiting of the recessions in 2003 and 2009. 2017 will be a complete replay of those years as we exit this weak period of spending. Take a look at the charts of 2003 and 2009, and also note that the whole year's Quarterly reports comparable-store-sales were negative.
