when Investment Bankers buy a dead public shell company and give it to a new company along with investment- They take stock. When new company goes public they sell the stock over time. They typically like to get 10x ROI on there original investment. This is how it works and I've personally done this.
The above explains why new public companies stock prices typically go down over time...never good idea to buy into non rvenue new public companies IMO
