Jeff, checkout Patent application# 11/402986 titled "Method of increasing testosterone and related steroid concentrations in women" in the Public Pair.

On 11-15-2010 this patent application narrowed its claims from broad indications to using testosterone to treat a testosterone deficient disorder selected from the group consisting of sexual dysfunction and decreased libido.

This was post merger between Solvay and Abbott and was accompanied by a Request for continued examination.

05-10-2012 Abbott labs expressly abandons the patent application.

Now Antares Pharmaceuticals received a method of use patent to treat HSDD November 29, 2011.

Biosante’s CV related patent applications were published January 2012.

So we know that Solvay-Abbott had an interest in the HSDD. Solvay is now a subsidiary of Abbvie.
