Your knowledge of the certification process is quite apparent and in every point you have made you are 100 percent correct.
These certification pitfalls are well known in the industry, which begs the question why were they not know to Baltia management? Or, at least, why was Baltia management unable to manage the risks involved?
I get sick and tired of the FAA being blamed for Baltia's incompetence, especially by those who have no knowledge of the certification process. It is not fair on the FAA who, as you have pointed out, are just doing their job.
Baltia's failure was entirely of it's own making, and the reasons for this failure are the same as they always have been... poor management without the talent to complete the task.
Your point number 6 should be made mandatory viewing for anyone who reads this board!
