The company has given it thought and tried it. A fee based model may work in the future but right now it is important to build membership and a loyal following (Which they are going an incredible job at) Players aren't going to pay an entry fee for a chance to win when the tournaments are as big as ours IMO.

With that said a subscription fee may not be out of the question but it has to offer something players really want and aren't getting anywhere else.

The HCT point tournaments may be an incentive. They could offer smaller HCT point tournaments only for subscribers. This gives players much better odds of winning. That's just a thought it still may not be the answer.

We're still waiting on our Mercenary system which IMO will be a key money maker.
