Not going to say for sure why the FAA didn't want to give them a fair shot, because I don't know why. Maybe they didn't want that route to Russia. Maybe that's why they gave the route to a start up Airline.... maybe the FAA didn't think they would really try as hard to make this happen like Baltia has been doing. Maybe they didn't like that the CEO at the time had Russian roots and didn't want a US flagged Airline attached to that. These are all a guess though and only my thoughts I will admit. The facts though shows the FAA not wanting us to know why. The facts are that it took Baltia to move Operations to Michigan because of the resistance with the FAA New York branch. The fact is that the FAA will not release the documents related to the test of the Mini Evacs. The fact is that Baltia's crew had done everything right without flaw during the Mini Evac Drills! The fact is that the reason the FAA states Baltia is not allowed to advance in the certification process with the 747-200 is because of an issue that the FAA allows to happen with other carriers. The FACT is the FAA is a joke! Just hope they do the right thing on this new certification process..... we shall see!
