That's certainly possible. They took out a lot of stop loss orders yesterday is my guess. Much better to get alerts and trade limit orders in real time if you want to exit a position. MMs have visibility to stop losses. Why give them an advantage. Pretty easy strategy but so many people don't do it and help the MMs make money.
