Robotics are here, increasing, and will become a dominant force in reducing labor costs. This is a given and a no brainer. The problem of how to deal with resultant laid off labor will persist, regardless of one's political point of view or which party is in control.
Nonetheless, it is far superior to have manufacturing, revenues and plowback being generated in the USA rather than outside the country. This is a no brainer.
I do feel sorry, though, for the excess management at LQMT which will be laid off, such as Bromage, Chung and Buchanan, for example.
I do believe new capable technical people will be hired, and that is a plus.
So, as far as LQMT goes, new people will be hired more than those being laid off, which will be a big plus.
It's important to keep with the new millenium and not be lost in the days of yesteryear.
