Yep, but that is changing fast.. My buddy near Clear Lake just put up 2 large buildings to add indoor to his outdoor grow operation.

Currently, yes... but if they want to get it into retail, they will have to follow the law... and the potential for retail is so massive, many will.

Did you know that the majority of cannabis being sold and tested in dispensaries is indoor ?

Indoor needs to be tested as well

Did you know that it is the dispensaries that arrange the testing for the cannabis ?

They do much of the testing now, but AFTER the law takes effect, it has to be done by the growers, which are not going to be located in the bay area... From what i understand, they cant even move the MJ to the dispensaries UNTIL it has passed.

Did you know that the majority of dispensaries are in larger urban locations ?

Of course, that is the RETAIL market, not where its grown.

Did you know that labs like SC Labs have curriers throughout the entire state ?

Got any proof to support this claim?... I highly doubt they do. How do you get it all back to the lab (without using mail) in a timely manner?... Driving 5+ hours (one way) to a grower up north, then back to the lab does not seem very economical.

Of course locations like the Bay Area would make much better locations for testing labs than a place like Yuba city , that is where their clients are .

That is where the END USER is, not the grower. BIG difference.

You are looking at the CA situation as though it was Oregon and it is not . You cant throw a rock in Oakland without hitting a warehouse grow and it is the cannabis that is grown in these types of indoor grows that is what is going to be tested and what the market demand is for in CA .

The Emerald Triangle is by far the largest grow area in the country... Growers are not going to move to where the real estate is some of the highest in the country, along with every other cost. Bay area growers will eventually lose to the growers going to cheaper areas (central valley) and driving down margins... a couple hour drive can save considerable amounts of $$$...

There was a time when the Bay Area was full of orchards as well. None exist anymore. Its illogical.

The bulk of the outdoor grown in CA is exported to places that have a market demand for outdoor cannabis , the CA market demand in dispensaries is for top shelf indoor cannabis

We only care about the QUANTITY of MJ grown, that is all that matters for the testing labs, not if its indoor or outdoor and/or the quality... and the Emerald Triangle is KING. You are not going to convince me otherwise, cause every piece of substantive DD on the Cali grow market proves your claims wrong.

SGBYs lab in not in a small market. It is far greater grow area than the bay area will ever be, without a freakin doubt. There is no larger grow market, anywhere. Your claims lack supporting DD.
