I am becoming very cynical regarding the stock market. Two of my major holdings, stocks that I have been purchasing and holding for three years, had major good news this week, news that I have been anticipating for three years.
The result of this good news? My account has gone down $45,000 in three days. No doubt those shorting the stocks and those with the inside news knew all that was coming and sold or shorted a week ago, such that they probably gained $45,000 in those three days.
And the worst of this is that the selling is probably not done. So why all the "buy" reiterations on SGYP this past week with targets of $13 to $18? Were those analysts part of the conspiracy to take our money?
Pretty disappointing to say the least.
