Isn't the cancer trial using combo therapy with both Yervoy (BMY) and Keytruda (Merck)? Will we get results on Feb 7th for both? BMY could use some good news.
Why isn't the market excited about GR-MD-02 potential to treat cancer? Is it because this company has been down this road before and completely fizzled out? I'm still not sure what happened a few years ago with the last cancer combo trial. It's like it never happened once Traber came on board and steered the company towards NASH. Seems to me GALT management isn't really invested in the results as it was the last page in the stockholder presentation. As the SA article author wrote - they are totally gunshy after the last few blunders.
A few years ago BMY bought a private company that had a galectin inhibitor. Time for MRK to do the same.
