The PR says that Proviso acquired Cache dba Kerr Consulting which is the company in Iowa. I've also received an email from Mr Kerr stating the following.

It is not the same Cache, Inc.   This Cache, Inc. was actually an Iowa Corporation I started in 1990, never traded on any exchange, and fortunately never filed bankruptcy.   Hope this helps.
