All I want is a schedule showing how to close the huge coming gap with Social Security. Who needs to pay more, get less and at what age can they retire. Lets try to leave anyone within 20 years of retiring totally alone.
There has to be a simple tweek we can easily understand. If everyone under 40 can't retire until 70 and pay 2% more does that help? I would like to see some clear options and see what the people think. Is it so underwater younger people have to retire at 75 and double their contribution? Raise cap to $1m income? 10m?
I honestly don't know.
Medicare is different when involving payments to healthcare providers. Much more complicated.
