In and out of catching up with the news today, but it is a good start.
So far I haven't seen anyone discuss how any technology license, that I have ever been involved with, works. Everyone that I have been a part of has nothing to do with how many units are eventually sold, or not sold. We will have to have Mr Cola flesh out the details on the next conference call. But the typical deal, in this instance, would be that the printer manufacturer pays money for the right to install PR3D in their machines, payable over a certain time frame, regardless of whether they actually install any PR3D systems. Whether there is a cap on the number of installs per the license term, or not, remains to be seen. Whether SGLB gets a royalty on the sale, or not, remains to be seen. But then, what no one has mentioned, is the SGLB will get follow on maintenance and support revenue from the customer buying the printer. The last we heard it was 22 percent. There is a lot more going on here than you think. This is a revenue stream beginning.
Sounds good to me.
All the best,
Silversmith
